Giuliana Pelcher '23 Attends Pre-Med Program at Stevens

Giuliana Pelcher '23 participated this summer in the Pre-Medicine Biology Pre-College Program at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

“The program included a variety of labs, lectures, and research activities that provided me with great insight into what Pre-Med Biology in College was all about,” said the Mount Saint Mary Academy senior. “I was able to perform a bunch of different experiments, including protein purification and SDS Gel Electrophoresis, which were two topics discussed during biology class at the Mount, and explore their application to vaccine development. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I am truly grateful for all the wonderful students and professors that I met during my time at Stevens.”
