The Kennedy Library Media Center values the effective use of information sources and technology for promoting intellectual growth and effective communication. It features a collection of print and digital materials, a variety of technologies, a space for quiet study, a Maker Space, and a student-led television studio program.
In addition to a collection of reference resources and other literature, the Library Media Center provides DVDs and access to OverDrive digital library for all students, faculty, and staff. All materials are chosen to support the curriculum and for personal enrichment.
The Library Director is available for the support of all resources and works with faculty to incorporate information literacy and technology skills into the curriculum.
During the summer of 2023, the Library Media Center underwent a significant refresh. The updated space is more open, bright, and comfortable and gives students quiet and private areas to read, study, and complete schoolwork. The new space has received overwhelming praise from students.
