Dear Mount Alumnae,
Welcome to the alumnae website. We are "Mounties" -- a sisterhood of women who met on a lovely hill in Watchung, New Jersey. The Office of Alumnae Relations serves as a liaison between students and programs at the Mount today and yesterday’s graduates.
A Mount graduate becomes a member of the Alumnae Association. The Alumnae Association is comprised of women from hundreds of disciplines and a variety of cultures, who together create the Mount tapestry. The Alumnae Association is directed by a dedicated group of volunteer leaders and exists to:
- provide strong ties to each other and to today’s Mount students
- serve as a networking opportunity for graduates, both professional and social
- assist in keeping The Mount strong and viable and in carrying on time-honored traditions
are an essential component of the Alumnae Association and serve as an important link between their respective classes and the Academy.
The Office of Alumnae Relations, the Alumnae Association Executive Board and the Mount Saint Mary Academy Class Agents help connect more than 5,000 Mount graduates worldwide, with each other and with the Academy through initiatives including events, career days, Homecoming, online and printed publications and alumnae events, both in-person and virtual. The goal is to support Mount traditions, continue to demonstrate our love for the Sisters of Mercy and the Mercy core values, and ensure the continued bond of Mount sisters and family members.
If you are interested in becoming a class agent or getting more involved, please contact Irene Hopkins, Alumnae Relations Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org
