The Next Century Endowment Campaign

As of June 2023, The Next Century Endowment Campaign is in its early stages. For the next 6-12 months, we will be having conversations and private gatherings with prospective donors to begin securing financial commitments. In the meantime, the information below will be helpful to all participants throughout the entire campaign term, which will span approximately 24 months.

Why An Endowment?

There are a number of different gift types that will support the Endowment campaign, all of which have various considerations. Please click through the options below:

  • Comprehensive Gifts

    While a strong endowment is undeniably important to the Mount’s sustainability, we need to continue to maintain a healthy Annual Fund for our daily operations. If you’d like to support both the Endowment and Annual Fund, our Advancement team can help you compose a comprehensive gift.

  • Multi-Year Pledges

    When committing to a multi-year pledge, please consider:
    • Length of Pledge Commitment
    • Type of Gift
    • Restrictions
    • Naming Requests

  • One-Time Contributions

    These can be made in the form of:
    • Cash/Check
    • Credit Card
    • Transfer of Stock or Securities
    • Distribution from your traditional or Roth IRA

  • Planned Gifts

    Also known as estate gifts, these formalize your legacy while continuing to provide access to a Mount education for future generations of young women. Please note that donors will be required to provide evidence of your estate to Mount Saint Mary Academy (for example, a copy of the page in your estate plan along with the signature page). Please consult with your tax advisor or financial advisor to learn more about ways to give through estate planning and long-term planning.
As each gift intent comes with many considerations, we strongly recommend a conversation with the Advancement team before finalizing your commitment.

During this initial phase of the campaign, pledge forms will be available upon request, as will stock transfer instructions.
