Admissions

Admissions Process

Any student interested in applying to the Mount must complete an Inquiry Form by visiting the "Complete An Inquiry Form" page as their first step. Completing this form allows us to create an initial profile record in our database for your family. We will then email you a username to log into our admissions portal where you will find your personalized Admissions Checklist based upon your daughter’s current grade.

For students interested in applying for the next school year, the online Admissions Checklist will guide you through required admissions steps, provide access to all necessary forms, and will link you to the online application.

For students who are looking at high schools for their future attendance, your online Admissions Checklist will notify you about opportunities to visit the Mount, attend specialized programs and much more.

Below is a brief overview of our Admissions process.

Come Visit

List of 2 items.

  • Open House

Open House, an annual event in October, is a great opportunity for prospective families to tour the campus, meet faculty, staff, and students, and gain insights into the Mount's academic and extracurricular programs.

Even if the student has attended Open House in prior years, the event presents an excellent opportunity to obtain information and gain an even better sense of the many components of the Mount experience.
  • Mercy Girl Experience

The Mercy Girl Experience is a requirement for all applicants. Prospective students are invited to shadow a current Mount student from 8 am to noon during the school day. They will attend classes, meet students and teachers, and dine in our Student Center for lunch.

Eighth graders may schedule their Mercy Girl Experience visits at the beginning of October via their Admissions Checklist. For Seventh graders, visitations are scheduled in the spring of seventh grade via their Admissions Checklist.

Seventh graders may sign up now to get an early glimpse of high school life. Visits are scheduled throughout May.

To schedule a Mercy Girl Experience visit, contact enrollment@mountsaintmary.org.
