Josie Heim '27 Earns Perfect Score on National Latin Exam
Congratulations to Josie Heim ’27, who received special recognition from the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League for achieving a perfect score on the National Latin Exam.
Per National averages, over 22,000 Latin students take the Introduction to Latin exam, and only 400 students achieve a perfect score.
Cecelia Lahiff, Latin teacher, said, “I am very proud of Josie’s dedication and passion for the Latin language and for Roman history. This is first time this has been accomplished in Mount Latin history, and it is a very prestigious award.”
