The College Board announced that Mount Saint Mary Academy has been named to the 2025 Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning Platinum distinction. Platinum is the highest level in a program that includes bronze, silver, gold, and platinum categories. Once again, Mount Saint Mary Academy exceeded the criteria for Platinum recognition across all AP School Honor Roll metrics.

The AP School Honor Roll highlights schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn AP School Honor Roll recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.

At Mount Saint Mary Academy, 21 Advanced Placement courses are offered, 32 sections are taught, and 14 teachers are teaching AP courses. This year, over 95 percent of the students in the Class of 2026 will graduate with participation in the AP program.

Jacqueline Muratore, M.A., Ed.M., M.S., Assistant Directress, stated, “This Platinum distinction indicates how our students thrive in academically challenging courses. As our graduates express year after year, the AP courses offered at the Mount prepare them well for the rigors of college studies. We are so proud of our students’ accomplishments and grateful for the dedication of our AP teachers.”

“We know it takes a significant schoolwide effort – dedication from teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents – to make AP success a priority,” said Trevor Packer, Senior Vice President, AP and Instruction, College Board. “We join you in celebrating this inspiring achievement for your community. I’m inspired by your commitment and grateful for the chance to honor your success.”
