Seventy-Six Students Recognized by College Board as AP Scholars

Mount Saint Mary Academy is pleased to congratulate the 76 students recognized by the College Board as AP Scholars. This number of AP Scholars tops last year’s total of 73 and represents over half of all Mount students who took AP Exams this year!

The 2026 AP Exam results designated 35 students as AP Scholars with Distinction, 15 students as AP Scholars with Honor, and 26 students as AP Scholars. Notably, the average AP Exam score for these Scholars was an impressive 3.93.

The College Board denotes AP Scholars with Distinction as those students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams. Students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams are recognized as AP Scholars with Honor. AP Scholars are those students who earn scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

I applaud them for their hard work and dedication, and I extend a special thanks to our AP teachers for their tireless efforts and support of our students. This special recognition is a reflection of our mission at the Mount: to challenge each student to develop her fullest potential.”
