We Appreciate Our Faculty and Staff

Members of the Mount Saint Mary Academy faculty and staff felt extra special this week as they were celebrated for their hard work, commitment, and Mercy spirit.

 

MONDAY: The Administration provided Dunkin' Donuts coffee and donuts in the faculty rooms and placed lottery tickets in faculty/staff mailboxes as a token of their appreciation.

 

TUESDAY: Student Council members visited offices and classrooms to distribute "essentials" of Starbucks coffee bottles and candy with small signs that read, "The ABC's for Teachers: A (Always), B (Bring), C (Coffee, Chocolate & Christ!).

 

WEDNESDAY: Peer Ministers gifted faculty and staff with beautiful Devotional books decorated with the title, "You Are Loved." The booklets included some of the Peer Ministers' favorite Bible passages and some original artwork. The Peer Ministers said, "Our hope is that whenever you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, you can pull this devotional off of your bookcase and remember how much you are loved by the students here at the Mount."

 

THURSDAY and FRIDAY: The week culminated sweetly when Administration hosted a fun Candy/Snack Bar featuring salty and sweet treats in each Faculty Room. On Thursday, National Honor Society members gifted faculty and staff with personalized bookmarks and packets of candy bars. On Friday, our Peer Ministers gifted faculty and staff with small lanterns with a tag that read, "Let Your Light Shine! - Matthew 5:16."
