Quality of Life Team Wins Second Place

Kathleen Brennan, Department of Mathematics Chairperson, announced this week that the Quality of Life Innovations (QLI) Competition Team of Aryanna Perez '21 and Meghan Webber '21 earned 2nd Place designation after competing in the Finals.

 

"I was so impressed by the QLI team’s creativity and dedication to environmental sustainability," said Ms. Brennan. "Not only did they design and produce sustainable face masks, they showed their entrepreneurial talents by selling the masks to their fellow students!  Beyond their 2nd place award, the team gained valuable experience in networking and developing a business plan. I have no doubt that the skills they developed during the project will serve them well in the future. I’m so proud of them!"

 

According to Ms. Brennan, the Mounties will split a $4,500 award. Congratulations, ladies!
