Class of 2024 Inducted Into Alumnae Association

Before enjoying a special Tea and Luncheon with their mothers in the Sister Lisa Gambacorto Theater, members of the Class of 2024 were inducted into the Mount Saint Mary Academy Alumnae Association during a ceremony on May 29 in Immaculate Conception Chapel.

 

Following a welcome from Alumnae Association President, JoAnn Rojek Minnicino '74, P'11, the Opening Prayer was led by Marissa Minnicino Yaramothu '11 followed by the Suscipe of Catherine McAuley. The Profile of a Mercy Graduate was read by Kathryn O'Donnell Luppino '85, P'12 with the following Mercy Core Values detailed by Mount mothers and seniors -- (Compassion & Empathy: Susan Cardone Szabo '90 and Emma Szabo '24, Educational Courage: Patricia Del Rossi and Lillian Del Rossi '24, Spirituality: Kimberly Heim and Nina Heim '24, Principled Leadership: Adrienne Fretz and Isabelle Fretz '24, and A Voice for Dignity & Respect: Cynthia Benjamin and Amelia Benjamin '24).

 

Laura Capece Venables '99 led the recitation of the Alumnae Pledge. The Recognition of the Class Agents for the Class of 2024 was given by Ava Janish '22. The agents are Katherine Ferris '24 and Akshaya Karanam '24.

 

Gifts were presented to the seniors by Sister Lisa D. Gambacorto, RSM, Ed.S. (Directress); Jacqueline Conti Muratore '01 (Assistant Directress for Faculty, Curriculum, and Planning), Donna Venezia Toryak '68 (Director of Enrollment Management), and Mrs. Minnicino. The singing of the Alma Mater concluded the induction ceremony.
