Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2022

Earlier in the week prior to Homecoming 2022, the weather forecast looked ominous. Though it rained on Friday evening, 40 alumnae braved the elements and attended the cocktail reception. The next morning, the sun peeked through the clouds and the temperatures warmed. Close to 70 alumnae made the journey up the hill to reunite and reconnect with their classmates.

The guests were treated to a tour of the school with a stop at the school store where they received discount coupons. S. Lisa Gambacorto, RSM, Ed.S., Directress, and tour guides Guiliana Pelcher ’23Renee Vozza ’23Lillian Del Rossi ’24Bianca Barreto ’25 and Shelby Carmant ’25 answered questions about the Mount today during a “Fireside Chat.”

The classes of 1972, 1997, and 1992 were honored for their special reunion years during a celebratory Liturgy presided over by Monsignor Benwell in Immaculate Conception Chapel. S. Maria Cortis ’46 received a special award as did Muriel Cagney ‘65, and Jackie D’Alessio ’60 for their years of service and dedication to the Mount.

Over 75 alumnae made the journey up the hill to reunite and reconnect with their classmates. Hugs, laughter, photographs, and Mount memories were shared throughout the weekend.
