In his message on Sunday, May 10, Pope Francis praised and congratulated young people who worked to bring relief to the drought-stricken Sahel region of Africa through the Laudato Tree Project. 

Mount Saint Mary Academy Latin teacher, Jennifer Larson, has reported the names of students who have achieved magna cum laude, maxima cum laude, summa cum laude, and cum laude distinction, as well as gold and silver medals after taking the National Latin Exam.

Over the last two weeks, students and parents have sent photos and videos to the Office of Communications, sharing their sincerest gratitude for the teachers at Mount Saint Mary Academy. We've shared their submissions on social media and we have compiled a special video showcasing their sentiments.

This week, members of the senior class shared their belief that "Mount teachers keep us grounded and encourage us to grow" by creating a "Gratitude Tree." The project was sent by the Fontana family.
