Mount Giving Day
WE DID IT!
Read on for the results from S. Lisa.
In a stunning victory, the Mount Saint Mary family once again proved that we love a challenge!
The 3rd Annual Mount Giving Day was designed to promote legacy, spirit and support.
The goal was 109 gifts – one gift for every year of Academy history.
Our current students took photographs, crafted messages of gratitude and demonstrated their understanding of the power of giving. They also personally gave to the ‘Thank You Mom and Dad’ campaign to contribute to the day – and our Alumnae Association President matched their gifts!
Our faculty and staff responded en masse. Our parents and alumnae parents rallied throughout the day and alumnae from every decade broke records for single-day fundraising! Class Agents really came through. Many people gave for the 2nd or 3rd time this year.
Many thanks to the 20 Mount family members who recorded videos. The messages were inspiring, and it was such fun to see the many faces of Mount Saint Mary Academy. If you missed any of them, we are creating a link to a site where they will all be available for viewing.
A special thank you to the Departments of Communications, Alumnae and Advancement.
The energy across all constituencies was undeniable and even this morning, calls continue to be received.
Combining gifts that were made online, in person, through the mail, over the phone and even a pledge of stock – you helped us reach 299 gifts and nearly $50,000! Thank you and Bravo! I couldn’t be prouder to be a member of this Mount family.
This very successful day kicks off our 30-day rally to the end of the Annual Fund year. It is a phenomenal boost toward reaching our full-year goal. As we complete our recording over the next few days, we will inform you of the total money raised and how it has gotten us so much closer to our 2017-18 Annual Fund goal.
‘Thank You’ seems inadequate. You do so much. We are extremely grateful.
