Seniors Inducted Into Mount Alumnae Association

Before enjoying a special Tea and Luncheon with their mothers, members of the Class of 2023 were inducted into the Mount Saint Mary Academy Alumnae Association during a special ceremony held earlier this week in Immaculate Conception Chapel.

 

Following a welcome from Alumnae Association President, JoAnn Rojek Minnicino '74, P'11, the Suscipe of Catherine McAuley was recited along with the Characteristics of a Mercy Graduate. Donna Toryak '68, Director of Enrollment Management, offered welcoming remarks as well. The Affirmation of Mercy Core Values was given by Pamela Scheck and Mary Claire Schleck '23; Christina Sempepos Allain '93 and Sara Allian '23; Leslieann Hobayan '91 and Marina Hobayan Cialdella '23; Lori Savron Glynn '90 and Grace Glynn '23; Mary Patricia Eddy Carroll '55 and Margaret Haran '23; and Maria Barnett Gray and Charlotte Gray '23. 

 

Claire Sullivan Tucciarone '81, P '16 led the recitation of the Alumnae Pledge. She is also a member of the Mount Saint Mary Academy Board of Trustees. Irene Hopkins (Alumnae Relations Coordinator) recognized Charlotte Gray '23 and Dena Mistichelli '23 as Class Agents for the Class of 2023. 

 

Gifts were presented to the seniors by Sister Lisa D. Gambacorto, RSM, Ed.S. (Directress); Jacqueline Conti Muratore '01 (Assistant Directress for Faculty, Curriculum, and Planning), Ms. Toryak, and Mrs. Minnicino. The singing of the Alma Mater concluded the induction ceremony.
