Rising Seniors, Parents Attend College Presentation

Michelle H. Daino
The Class of 2023 (the rising senior class) of students and parents were provided an informative presentation on “Finding Your College Fits” on the evening of June 15.

Ms. Elizabeth Roper, Director of College Counseling, hosted guest Ms. Nicole Iannucci of The Princeton Review, who spoke to parents and students about the college search, application and admission process.

Advice on identifying the factors important to each student, “using a wide lens” to realize all the colleges that could be potential fits, utilizing resources and opportunities to interact with college admission to learn more about how a college may be a good fit, and preparing a quality application were discussed.

Ms. Roper commented, “This was a reassuring presentation to our students and families, reviewing information that has been provided in Junior College Skills and our college panel this spring.  Now that students are ‘rising seniors’ and embarking on a critical time of the college process, Ms. Iannucci and The Princeton Review were able to provide their advice and reassurance to our students and families at this time.”
