Academic, Service, Artistic Endeavors Lauded at Awards Night

Congratulations to all of the honorees at the Academy Awards Night on May 16th. Held in Chapel, our community’s artistic, academic and service endeavors and accomplishments were recognized and lauded. Academy Awards Night is organized by Donna Toryak, Director of Enrollment.

 

S. Lisa D. Gambacorto, RSM, Ed.S., Directress, stated, "Tonight we celebrate accomplishments that are at the heart of all that we do and all that we say we are at the Mount. Hard work, persistence, resilience -- these are all necessary components of success. But in the final analysis, it is really not all about the accomplishments. It is about the process! The integrity of the journey is just as important as the destination."

 

"I congratulate our senior class. Job well done! Headed off to campuses around the country, take what you have learned here to change the world," she added. "The magnitude of the need is great. With a total of $24 million in scholarship awards, each of you, our honorees, make this evening unique as we recognize with gratitude the academic, artistic, and service accomplishments of this school year."
