Elizabeth Roper, Director of College Counseling, said, "It is exciting to be able to host college admission leaders – in person – here at The Mount this evening. The advice and insight they offered to our young women and families is invaluable. The variety of higher education institutions represented is reflective of the variety of paths our students explore and consider for their future educational careers."
She added, "Our families heard a variety of perspectives and even among the ever-changing world of college admission, they were offered words of reassurance and encouragement. Students should strive to have four or five “first choices” and Mount young women will be prepared and more than capable of success at a number of the nearly 4,000 four-year colleges and universities in the United States."
"College admission is not an 'exact science' and the Mount supports our students to be empowered, mindful of others, and to continue to share their intellect, talents, gifts and qualities throughout their lives, in whatever direction they head!" stated Ms. Roper.
