Peer Ministry Club Holds Fair Trade Expo
The Mount Saint Mary Academy Peer Ministry Club hosted a Fair Trade Expo on December 9 and 10 in the Student Center, emphasizing the importance of shopping responsibly during the Christmas season.
The winners of the Expo prizes are: Olivia LaBruno '22 (not pictured), Mia Majewski '23 (far right), Reese Hannon '24 (middle) and Valentina Chirichiello '25 (left). The students participated in and won a Fair Trade Kahoot which was played in each Theology class. The prizes included Fair Trade items from Athleta, The Body Shop, Annie’s, Honest Tea, Starbucks, Shea Moisture, Bark Thins and others that the Peer Ministry Club donated.
