H.O.P.E. Club Donates Cereal to Local Pantry

Michelle H. Daino
The members of the H.O.P.E. Club thank all who participated in this year’s annual SUPER CEREAL BOWL! Our donation to fill the shelves of the Starfish Food Pantry in Plainfield total over 160 boxes, many of which were the large double boxes so an even greater supply to help their client families!

Each year this group depends upon us to help provide nutritious breakfast food and once again the Mount community did not disappoint. A huge contribution by sophomore Kelsie Neidenbach '23 helped her Pattern C Theology class win the Golden Cereal Bowl prize this year. A special thank you to Kelsie for modeling Mercy Core Values and school spirit by joining with her generous support. H.O.P.E. Club member, Ava Janish '22, and her brother are sponsoring a PAPER PRODUCTS DRIVE to benefit Cranford Family Care. There is a box in the main foyer of the Mount building for any donations of paper plates, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, baby wipes, diapers, tissues and feminine products that students are able to bring to school for this effort. H.O.P.E. Club members always try to extend a helping hand to Help Other People Everywhere! Thank you all for helping us do that!
