A Fun, Festive Christmas Spirit Week at the Mount

MERRY AND BRIGHT!...The Mount campus was fully festive - between Christmas socks, hats, Santa suits, special gatherings, and a spirited Pep Rally! On Tuesday, the Mount Saint Mary Academy Executive Board offered free hot chocolate to all Mounties in the cafeteria as part of our Christmas Spirit Week. This was also an opportunity to raise awareness about the Mercy Girl Effect project, "Providing Education for all Girls," with students offering donations for the effort. Board members, other student council officers, and S. Lee Ann Amico, RSM (Assistant Student Council Moderator), sang Christmas songs for the students and many of the students joined in on the singing! Our Pep Rally on Wednesday afternoon featured an awesome dance battle between classes with the sophomores taking the title! A White Elephant Gift Exchanged kept spirits merry and bright on Thursday morning too.
