Class of 2023 Information

Welcome to the class of 2023:

We are thrilled with the great group of accepted students who have enrolled in our Class of 2023. There have been several events in which we rolled out the welcome mat to you new Mounties and your families. In January many attended the Top Choice Accepted Students Reception, then a few weeks later all of you, as accepted students, joined us at the Pizza Party at which you were able to learn more about the many opportunities available to enrich your Mount experience. Placement testing and course scheduling followed to get the ball rolling for the new school year. Many members of the Mount community turned out to celebrate the Class of 2023 and your families at the special liturgy held in your honor on March 23. Bishop Emeritus Paul Bootkoski shared an inspiring and energizing message in his personal welcome to all during his homily. The reception followed in Mercy Hall.

In the weeks ahead there will be many more times for you members of the Class of 2023 to return to campus to get to know each other and learn more about the road ahead. Here are some important dates to note:

SATURDAY, MAY 4 - Math & World Language Placement Tests

MONDAY, MAY 13 - Uniform Measuring

May 4-10 Art Show

May 5 Spring Concert

Bridge to High School Program (contact Ms. Toryak for details)

Students who are interested in beginning the Admissions Process as a candidate for the Class of 2023 are requested to contact the Admissions Office to schedule a freshman-for-a-day visit. This is the first step in the process to help you get to know more about the Mount and evaluate it as a comfortable fit for your high school future. Attending classes with a freshman hostess will give you an up close and personal look at a day in the life of a Mount student. A test session can be scheduled after your visit, and you will receive an application at that time. Don’t delay, as we’d love to have you join our Mount family!

CONTACT the Admissions Director, Donna Venezia Toryak, 908.757.0108 x4506 or email to schedule your visit or request further information.

Shadow day visits will begin in late March. Invitations to those students on our mailing list will be sent in early March. If you are not on our list, please do email the Admissions Office to be added. Don’t be left out! Come and enjoy an early glimpse of high school life at the Mount, so you are not rushed in the fall of 8th grade. Tell your friends and classmates to do the same, as someday, you may be Mount classmates! This summer we will offer the Entrance Test Prep Course for 4 days in July and 4 days in August. Details will be available in April, and you can register on our website once the form is posted.
