About

Campus

The Mount Saint Mary Academy campus is situated on 80 beautiful acres on a ridge of the Watchung Mountains overlooking the New York City skyline. Students enjoy a unique environment that combines a small school feel with a collegiate campus setting.

The Mount Building at the center of campus contains the trademark columns and bell tower that have long been associated with the Mount. This was the original school building and now extends into Gabriel Hall, which contains recently renovated, state-of-the-art science labs, classrooms, and an athletic training room.

Mount Saint Mary Academy is also home to the stunning Immaculate Conception Chapel. It is the site of many important Mount moments, including regular liturgies, Junior Ring Mass, and graduation. It also serves as the venue for many alumnae weddings.

The campus also includes the St. Joseph Building, which houses numerous classrooms, the Student Center, and the Kennedy Library Media Center.

The Mother Mary Patrick Gymnasium includes a recently renovated basketball court and new scoreboard. The breathtaking Angels of Victory Field is home to the Mount's field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and track teams and was named a Distinguished Sports Facility by the American Builders Association in 2009. Other campus athletic venues include the tennis courts and softball field. The grounds contain numerous gardens including the Shakespeare Garden and the Our Lady Queen of Peace Garden.
