Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. – Phi Chapter – Students will be rated on GPA, SAT/ACT scores, honors/awards received, extracurricular activities and family income. Application deadline is June 4.

Twin Boros Scholarship Foundation- For residents of Bound Brook or South Bound Brook who are high school seniors. To apply write 100 word essay, submit transcript, SAT scores and a recommendation letter. All applications must be received by May 13, 2008.

WISS- Is offering scholarships to students pursuing accounting degrees at New Jersey colleges; applications are due April 23rd and can be downloaded from wiss.com.

William Paterson University Summer Youth Programs - For grades 9-12 - Participate in a four week program in a variety of courses; for example: The Born Identity-You as a Leader, Taste of College Workshop, and Teens on TV. Visit www.wpunj.edu/cpe.

JLS Shirley Wight Keeney Volunteerism Scholarship - Awards of five $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to volunteerism in their community. Scholarships

American Legion Ball - Kirch Post 265 of North Plainfield is offering four (4) $1,250 scholarships, 2 for girls, 2 for boys. Applicant must be a North Plainfield resident and the child or grandchild of an honorably discharged Veteran of the US Armed Forces or a child or grandchild of a current member of Ball-Kirch Post 265 with five (5) years continuous membership. Application deadline is March 26.

Community Builders Association of New Jersey – award will be based on academic ability, potential, and financial need. Weight will be given to students contemplating study in engineering or architecture or whose parent(s) work in the building industry. Application deadline is April 15.

Madison/Florham Park Knights of Columbus – Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded students who are Catholic and are member of St. Vincent Martyr (Madison) or Holy Family (Florham Park) parishes, or child/grandchild of Knights Member in good standing of council No. 2248. Application deadline is April 4.

Woodbridge Rotary Scholarship – Applicants must be Woodbridge residents. Application deadline is April 15.
