On Saturday, February 4, approximately 60 young women from 25 different schools came to Mount Saint Mary Academy to create exciting projects led by teachers and students who are proficient in the STEAM movement. Our guests created Valentine's Day cards using Paper Circuits and made snowmen with TinkerCad. Ms. Michelle Walezak, Administrative Dean, said, "A very special thank-you to Rachel St. Louis '17, Bailey Klemm '19, Gianna Distefano '17, Iman Anwar '19, Trisha Parayil '17, Brigid Keele '19, Serena Evans-Lutterodt '17, Natalie Vogel '18, Julia Benewiat '18, and Cara Condodina '18 for volunteering their time and skills. Each student displayed class and strong leadership with great enthusiasm and genuine desire to make the younger students feel welcome and comfortable. And, a very heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Justin Carter and Mrs. Patrizia Davis who spent so much time helping to prepare and lead the activities."
