Transportation
Mount Saint Mary Academy offers a variety of transportation options to transport students to and from school. Families submit a B6T Application for Private School Transportation annually to the Academy. Local school districts determine annually whether they will provide transportation to out of district schools. Families residing in school districts that provide public school transportation may receive reimbursement of approximately $1,000 per year if their school district does not provide transportation directly to the Academy. The Academy has no control over the towns’ decisions regarding transportation, which is reviewed annually by each school district. For the current school year, approximately 40 towns reimbursed Mount families a $1,000 stipend in lieu of transportation.

Car Pooling
Many families arrange their own carpools to/from the Academy. After submission of an enrollment contract, new students’ families will be provided access to the current school directory and may also contact the Director of Enrollment Management for local contacts. -
Central Bus Stop
Presently, families in towns in Somerset and Hunterdon counties utilize a round-trip, central stop bus provided by Kensington Bus Company. This service is currently a morning and afternoon service. -
Metuchen/Edison Van
With sufficient demand, the Mount will begin offering a morning van service to campus from Saint Joseph High School (SJHS) in Metuchen for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be an AM service only. There will be a designated pick-up spot in front of SJHS for the students. -
Student Self Driving
Students with a valid driver’s license may drive to school. There is an annual parking fee to park on campus. -
Summit Train Station Shuttle Service
Shuttle Service is available to/from the Summit train station servicing the Gladstone & Hackettstown/Morristown NJT train lines. Students may also use the Summit Train Station as a central stop. This shuttle is available for morning and afternoon bus service.
